Persons wishing to register a .wien domain cannot do so directly through punkt.wien GmbH, but must use a registrar/an ICANN-accredited registrar (2013RAA) - or one of their resellers - to do so.

Any legal or natural person who wants to demonstrate an economic, cultural, historical, touristic or social connection to the Austrian capital Vienna can register a domain under .wien.

Any company wishing to offer domain registration services under the (new) gTLDs and thus enter into a direct business relationship with a registry such as punkt.wien GmbH must first be accredited by ICANN (2013 RAA).

If your company is already ICANN-accredited and would like to offer registration services for .wien domains, please contact us via the contact form so that we can negotiate a registration agreement.
